If doing it the night before (for a more natural look), immediately after painting the socks, bandage up the socks – do this while the legs are still wet, and that’s all you have to do! If you are wanting that crisp bright white look, paint the socks on the day of the show.

If you need to touch up any last-minute stable stains, you can touch a damp sponge into the cream and just dab it over the stain to cover it.
